I created two Spotify playlists for everyone to listen to.
For the first playlist I created a collection of songs that I believe inspired my writing for my debut album "New Romance." It has a mix of old and new. It has songs from The Cranberries, Blondie, B-52’s, and the Cardigans. As well as some 80’s new wave like the Smiths, the Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. It also has some of my favorite recent tunes from Dayglow, Snail Mail, and the Wallows. Each song inspired me in a different way and I keep listening to these songs as well as discovering new ones everyday. As I continue to create music these songs will continue to inspire me.
The second playlist I created is just a collection of songs that I am currently listening to at the moment. These are songs that Im loving at the moment and will probably be sick of next week. I plan on updating this playlist every week, taking a few songs out and replacing them with new ones so it always feels fresh and new.
